THINGS TO DO / BUGS TO FIX
==========================

* grep -E 'XXX|FIXME|CHECKME|TODO' *.[ch]
  To spot anything I forget to mention here :)

* xfile:
  Maybe use xerror for error reporting.

* examples:
  Add usage examples for xgetopt. The main() func in xgetopt.c shows how things
  work, but it's maybe a bit hard to follow (it allows the testing of various
  option parsing flags, rather than aiming to be a clear usage guide). Ideas:

  - csvcut / csvfmt: pick columns by number (-f 1,3-4), set the delimiter (-d),
    skip rows (-S 1,6-9), and write as a table, TSV, or quoted CSV (-o format).

  - wordfreq: count words in files or stdin, with -n 20 for top N, -i to ignore
    case, -m LEN for a minimum word length, -r to reverse the sort, and -c for
    counts only. The counts go in a tree and the sorted output comes from a
    list, so it demos those as well as xgetopt.

* A range parser:
  To convert a string like "1,6-9" into a list: (1, 6, 7, 8, 9).
  And back again, merged. E.g.:

  "1,3-5,4-8" -> (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
  (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) -> "1,3-8"

  Maybe put it in a new module of its own, e.g. xconv, where other similar
  stuff might eventually join it.
